Mthokozisi Khathi, widely recognized by his stage name DJ Tira, is a prominent South African DJ, record producer, and entrepreneur. Born on 24 August 1976 in KwaHlabisa Village, KwaZulu-Natal, DJ Tira has carved a significant niche in the South African music industry, particularly in the genres of Kwaito and Afro-house. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has not only produced chart-topping music but also nurtured emerging talents through his record label, Afrotainment.
