Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi (born 11 August 1988), professionally known as Kwesta, is a renowned South African rapper and songwriter. Originating from Katlehong, Gauteng—also known as ‘K1’—Kwesta began his musical journey at the young age of 15 when he formed the rap group Ghetto Fellaz, later renamed The Juvenylz. Over the years, he has evolved into one of South Africa’s most influential hip-hop artists, currently signed to his own independent media company, RapLyf Records, which he co-founded with Kid X.

Kwesta attended Phumlani Secondary School in Katlehong before transferring to Alafang Secondary School. During his high school years, he developed a passion for poetry, which was met with encouragement from both peers and teachers. In 2003, he joined the rap group The Ghetto Fellas, later renamed The Juvenylz, which disbanded after two years.

Following the group's disbandment, Kwesta secured studio time through an agreement with Africa's Most Southern Record Company.
