Mkhululi Siqula was born on December 4, 1991, in Veeplaas, Port Elizabeth. His father, Phindlie Siqula, worked as a mechanic. Heavy-K attended Mzimhlophe Public Primary School and Ndzondelelo Secondary School. From a young age, he showed a passion for music, which would later define his career.
Career
Heavy-K’s musical journey began early; at just 16 years old in 2007, he produced the single "Lento" for the artist Professor. In 2013, he relocated to Johannesburg to pursue music professionally and released his debut studio album, Respect the Drumboss, on January 1, 2013.
